Nice to meet you, I'm Lizzie!

I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. One of my first film cameras was one of those pink 90's Barbie Polaroids where I took pictures of my friends at school. Eventually upgraded to a Star Wars film camera where I took photos of my stuffed animals alongside transparent characters from Episode 1. My favorite digital camera of my young childhood was the 3.2 Megapixel Canon Powershot A410. Spent a lot of hours creating art and music videos during my early teens, even if there was no microphone attached. That camera was the core of my artistry.

When I got into high school, my dad gifted me my very first DSLR- a Nikon D3000. That's when the magic happened. Spent years in art classes such as photography and AP Studio Photography, where I received a 5/5 score on my photography portfolio at the end of my senior year. I also submitted a photo piece in an art show for $25 and a guest bought it! Humbling and exciting.

In 2014, I decided to take my love for photography a step further and created a Facebook page to post my images for the world to see. My original name was called "Studio Flames Photography" and it was only going to be fine arts. But one day, I figured, why not just start a business? Ventured out into a portrait photography business the following year in 2015.

For the last decade, I have spent many hours traveling, editing, and shooting for friends, family, and those who know my friends & family- and I hope to continue the magic for decades to come.

xoxo,

Lizzie
